SYKON will publish the full privacy policy before launch. This page describes what the website itself does.
No tracking
This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics. Fonts and images are served from this site.
Hosting and spam protection
This website is hosted by Cloudflare. To keep out automated spam, our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks the browser before a request is sent. A request you send goes by email to our sales team, sent through our email provider, Resend. To limit repeated requests, the website keeps a coded form of your network address for one hour.
Your theme choice
If you switch between the light and dark theme, your browser stores the choice under the name sykon-theme in its local storage. It never leaves your device, and you can clear it in your browser settings.
The quote form
The quote form on the contact page and on each system page sends what you enter to SYKON's sales team: your name, work email address, phone number if you give one, the system you choose and your project details, and the document or project you came from if the link named one. We use it to answer your request.
The website passes your request on by email and stores nothing itself after sending, except a counter that lasts one hour for each visitor. The counter is kept under a one-way hash of the visitor's network address, and it exists only to stop repeated sending. Our email provider, Resend, keeps a copy of each sent email for 30 days. If the website cannot send the request, the form opens your own email app with a message addressed to [email protected], and nothing is sent until you send that email.
Project briefs and call-back requests
The project brief and the call-back request send what you enter to SYKON's sales team: for a brief, the project, its location, building type and stage, the systems you choose, quantities, a note, the date you need it by, your name, company, role, email address, phone number and any drawings you attach; for a call-back, your name, phone number and topic. We use it to answer your request.

While you fill in a brief, your browser keeps your answers, without the drawings, in its session storage so you can close the dialog and come back during the same visit. They stay on your device and are removed when the brief is sent or the browser tab is closed.
